April 1 (UPI) -- Emma Thompson kept it classy at the Empire Awards Sunday, walking the red carpet in a beige knee-length dress, but the Saving Mr. Banks star says her outfit wasn't as put together as it looked in the pictures.

“My husband pointed out that you could see my nipples through my dress -- and that they were even,” Thompson told British newspaper The Sun via Heat World.

“I had to do some hoiking and adjusting, it was such an effort to get them perfectly aligned,” she joked.

Thompson's ludic comments are a great follow up for the stunt she pulled while presenting the Best Screenplay award during the Golden Globes in January. At the time, the actress took the stage with a martini glass in a one hand and her and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels in the other. When Miss Golden Globe handed her the envelope with the name of the winner, Thompson Thompson tossed the heels aside and gave her the drink.

You can check out a Vine post of the moment below.
