March 31 (UPI) -- The Dixie Chicks covered Miley Cyrus' hit "Wrecking Ball" at their concert earlier this month in London.

The Chicks gave the song their own country twang, and the cover was met with audience applause.

Cyrus has done several covers of her own recently, including her godmother Dolly Parton's classic song "Jolene."

The Dixie Chicks' Long Time Gone tour came to a close in Copenhagen, Denmark, on March 20. The band released their last studio album, Taking the Long Way, in 2006.

Cyrus continues her Bangerz tour in Toronto on Monday night. The tour ends June 17 in Madrid, Spain.
