Pharrell Williams is going to be a coach in the upcoming season of singing competition The Voice.

NBC made the announcement Monday via Twitter.

The Academy Award nominated singer/songwriter later retweeted the message, adding, "This is going to be so fun."

Pharell will be joining original coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as well as returning coaches Usher and Shakira in the seventh season of the reality series.

News of Pharrell's new gig as coach comes days after it was revealed that he'll be rolling out an Eco-friendly capsule collection for Adidas this summer.
