The latest trailer for the upcoming Sci-Fi drama Dawn of the Plant of the Apes was unveiled by 20th Century Fox on Sunday.

The 44-second clip showcases the apes' new place in society as a voiceover explains what it is that makes them stronger than humans.

"You know the scary thing about them? They don't need power, lights, heat, nothing. That's their advantage. That's what makes them stronger."

The film will focus on a power struggle between the human "survivors of the simian plague" and the apes led by Caesar, the chimp who began an ape revolution in the prequel, Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Starring Keri Russell and Gary Oldman, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters on July 11.
