March 28 (UPI) -- Beyoncé broke down in an "ugly cry" as she thanked fans during her last The Mrs. Carter Show tour performance.

The singer appeared in Lisbon, Portugal on Thursday night for the final concert of the tour. The Mrs. Carter Show began in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15, 2013.

"This has been an incredible tour," Beyoncé said in a speech onstage to concert-goers. "Tonight is the last show... I want to say this has been such a journey."

"I just want you to know that I am so lucky," the singer continued as she started to tear up. "I'm giving ya'll an ugly cry!"

"When I fall, you lift me up," the star told her fans. "When I'm hungry, you feed me. And I just want to give you my light."
