March 27 (UPI) -- New Kids on the Block will perform four shows in Las Vegas to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

"Plan on having the best night of your life - 4 nights in a row!" the band proclaims on their website.

The shows will take place at the Axis Theater at Planet Hollywood July 10-13, and will be the band's only North American performances this year.

New Kids on the Block first assembled in 1984, and includes band members Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. The band enjoyed many years of success before disbanding in 1994.

A secret reunion took place in 2007, and the band released a new album, The Block, in 2008. A reunion tour with fellow boy band the Backstreet Boys later took place in 2011-2012.

"We knew we wanted to do something special stateside for 2014," Donny Wahlberg told Ryan Seacrest. "We knew we had a limited time block where we could do something fun and we knew we had to make it memorable!"

"What better place than Vegas?" he continued. "We'll be up all day and all night for the whole weekend with our fans."

The Las Vegas concerts will take place before New Kids on the Block go on tour in Europe. Block Nation full service members will have first access to the tickets starting today, March 27. General sales will begin on Friday, April 4.
