Former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said the message of The Redemption of Henry Myers, the new film produced by his EchoLight Studios, has a "message for everybody."

In June Santorum became CEO of the faith-based studio, the latest offering of which debuts at 9 p.m. EST Sunday on the Hallmark Channel.

“There’s a message for everybody out there as to how we forgive,” Santorum said of the film. "And do we forgive? And the process by which you have to go through to do that."

EchoLight produces unrated movies that mostly release straight-to-TV or straight-to-DVD.

The Redemption of Henry Myers, starring Drew Waters and Erin Berthea, is about a robbery-gone-wrong in the wild west.

"After [Henry Myers'] latest heist goes wrong and his outlaw friends betray him and leave him for dead, Henry is surprised to find extraordinary kindness from a widow named Marilyn and her children," the film's website says.
