Bradley Cooper proves Louis C.K. wrong [VIDEO]

Louis C.K. said in 2009 that acting students wouldn't be famous after asking Sean Penn questions on "Inside the Actors Studio," but Bradley Cooper did.

Looks like actor Bradley Cooper got one over on comedian Louis C.K. … and probably neither of them realized it.

The two actors, who appear together in last year's Oscar-nominated American Hustle, apparently were connected to one another well before Cooper pretended to hump Louis C.K. and throw a telephone at him in Hustle.

In an interview with British actor Stephen Merchant in 2009, Louis C.K. joked about acting students thinking they might get famous just because they ask an actor a question during a taping of Inside the Actors Studio.

"You know when an actor stands up ... and asks Sean Penn or whoever, 'What can I do to reach your level?'" Louis C.K. said. "You just want to say, 'That's it. You never will be famous. You'll never be famous!"

An acting student did ask Penn a question when he appeared on the show in 1999, and it turned out to be a very young — and slightly more hairy — Cooper.
