New 'Maleficent' trailer gives Angelina Jolie wings [VIDEO]

Here's the latest trailer for Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning's Sleeping Beauty prequel, which features even more of Jolie's impossibly high cheekbones -- as well as her character's backstory.

Additional voiceover hints at why Maleficent might have become a villain in the first place, and toys with the notion that she might have cause for her grievances against Princess Aurora's father.

“I had wings once, and they were strong,” she says, as we catch a glimpse of her green wings. "But they were stolen from me.”

Maleficent hits theaters May 30.
