Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin and Georgie Henley star as two sisters who plot to kill their alcoholic mother in the first trailer for the film Perfect Sisters.

Based on true events, the Stanley M. Brooks-directed flick deals with the death of a mother of three after her daughters, having grown tired of her repeated relapses and abusive boyfriends, attempt to kill her.

Perfect Sisters is based on the 2003 story of a Toronto set of teens who called police after their mother accidentally drowned in her tub after spilling into a booze-and-pills stupor. While the death was ruled as an accident at first, authorities later found that the woman's daughters might have premeditated killing her.

Featuring Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino as the mother, Perfect Sisters hits theaters on April 11.
