VH1's 'Black Ink Crew' will return to television

Five new episodes of the series will bring the show's second season to a close.

March 11 (UPI) -- VH1's Black Ink Crew will return to television with five new episodes for the show's second season.

The season left off on December 23 last year, and the new episodes of the series will air beginning on March 31.

The show chronicles life at the Black Ink Tattoo Studio in Harlem, New York. Owner Ceaser and the tattoo artists are shown in their day-to-day operations, and cameras are there to catch all of the drama as well.

Black Ink Crew's mid-season finale ended with several cliffhangers in December. Ceaser's relationship with tattoo artist Dutchess appeared to be over, and artist O'[Expletive] faced potential jail time. In addition, previous managers Puma and Sassy were set to open a tattoo shop of their own.

The first new episode will air on Monday, March 31 at 9:30 p.m. ET on VH1.
