Lena Dunham says she may quit acting after she is finished with Girls but will continue as a writer, producer, and director.

Dunham told Glamour magazine that after Girls, she would rather stick to writing.

"I don't know if I'm going to want to act anymore," Dunham told the magazine, "I'm always relieved on the days I don't have to. I'd rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts."

She has no intention of leaving the business, she'd just rather be behind the camera.
