BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 11 (UPI) -- A Beverly Hills, Calif., police officer says he was punished for alleging another cop ogled the naked body of singer Whitney Houston at the scene of her death.

Sgt. Brian Weir is suing the city for unspecified damages, saying he was transferred out of the police department's SWAT and K-9 units after accusing Sgt. Terry Nutall of making an inappropriate remark about Houston, TMZ.com reported Monday. Weir says he also was denied promotions and other benefits.

Weir had claimed Nutall removed a sheet covering Houston's body, saying, "Damn, she's still looking good, huh?"

Weir says he registered his complaint about Nutall's comment shortly after the 48-year-old pop singer's February 2012 accidental drowning in the bathtub of her room at The Beverly Hilton.
