WASHINGTON, March 10 (UPI) -- Ariana Grande performed for the President of the United States during the Women Of Soul: In Performance At The White House concert on Thursday March 6th.

The 21-year-old Nickelodeon star belted out a soulful version of Whitney Houston's iconic ballad "I Have Nothing," as well as an emotional rendition of her own "Tattoed Heart" during the event.

Other highlights of the event included performances by Jill Scott and Janelle Monae as well as host President Barack Obama misspelling the word "respect" during a tribute to Aretha Franklin.
