LOS ANGELES, March 6 (UPI) -- A source tells E! News that Playboy offered Dylan Penn $150,000 to pose for the cover of their magazine.

The 22-year-old daughter of actor Sean Penn and actress Robin Wright has pursued a modeling career in recent years and is frequently spotted at fashion events.

The source says the shoot would have been akin to Kate Moss's Playboy cover, but that Dylan turned the offer down. Moss appeared on the magazine's 60th anniversary edition cover this year, and was shot by celebrity fashion photographers Mert and Marcus.

Penn starred in a recent campaign for Gap Outlet and just took part in a shoot for Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply line. The burgeoning model has also done shoots for GQ, W, and Elle. She recently told Elle magazine, however, that modeling is not her real passion, "Writing directing... anything behind the camera is what I want to do."
