LONDON, March 5 (UPI) -- Thandie Newton welcomed her third child with husband Ol Parker on Monday.

The 41-year-old actress shared the news on Twitter, explaining in a series of posts that the experience marked her third home birth.

"Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday," Newton wrote Tuesday.

"My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint -- and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive!" she tweeted Wednesday.

"Blissed out with @NYR_Official supplies -- from candles at the birth to Baby Balm for his skin -- organic, gorgeous and nurturing," the actress added.

Newton and Parker have been married since 1998. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ripley, in 2000. The pair's second child, a son named Nico, was born in 2004.
