Mark Wahlberg stars in new 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' poster

LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Mark Wahlberg looks buff, bruised and ready to fight in the latest poster for the upcoming film, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Wahlberg, 42, stars as mechanic Cade Yeager in the fourth installment of Michael Bay's Transformers saga. The film will focus on Wahlberg's character and his daughter Terra Yeager (Nicola Peltz), as the two "make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons -- and a paranoid government official -- on them."

The first poster for the film stars the 42-year-old actor holding some sort of weapon as he stand in wheat fields with a robot flying in the background. According to Yahoo Movies, the first trailer for the film is expected to be released later this week.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27, 2014.
