LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian beat out the likes of Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek, Ketherine Heigl and Rihanna to receive 2013's Golden Raspberry Award for "Worst Supporting Actress".

The reality television star received the shameful award for her participation in Tyler Perry's film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, where she played a frivolous businesswoman who criticizes her employees for failing to meet her beauty and style standards.

Perry praised the 33-year-old star's performance alongside Vanessa Williams, Brandy Norwood and Eric West, saying Kardashian delivered "100 percent" for the role.

"I wrote this role, Ava, which is perfect for her -- a small role that she delivered, she completely, 100 percent delivered, and she's hysterical," he said. "She takes every beat and every moment, and I was proud of the work she did in the movie."

But in spite of Perry's comments, critics called Kardashian's performance nasal and lacking emotion.

Kardashian will put on her acting hat again when she stars in an upcoming Kanye West-directed biopic based on the rapper's latest album, Yeezus.
