Jessica Biel walks Oscars red carpet sans Justin Timberlake

HOLLYWOOD, March 3 (UPI) -- Jessica Biel's appearance during Sunday night's 86th Annual Academy Awards served to appease at least one rumor going around about the 32-year-old actress -- she's not pregnant.

Biel showed up at the Oscars looking radiant in a form-fitting Chanel Couture dress that debunked rumors about an alleged pregnancy. Also noticeably missing was the actress' superstar husband, Justin Timberlake.

"[Timberlake is] out on tour, busy working," she said when asked about her husband of two years.

The "Mirrors" singer is currently on the road with his "20/20 Experience Tour," but this isn't the first time the couple has failed to show up together to an event. The Total Recall star famously missed the People's Choice Awards in January where Timberlake was awarded the Favorite Male Artist prize. She was also absent at the 2013 American Music Awards in November, and at the after-party for Timberlake's Saturday Night Live hosting gig in December of last year.

The singer's grandmother, Sadie Bomar, addressed rumors that the couple was going through a tough time in February, telling the British newspaper The Sun that Timberlake's marriage to Biel was "hard going" because of all the time they spend apart.
