HOLLYWOOD, March 3 (UPI) -- Ben Affleck wasn't by Jennifer Garner's side when she walked the red carpet at the 86th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night.

Garner, 41, looked stunning at the Oscars in a silver Oscar de la Renta gown, an Oscar de la Renta bag and Forevermark jewelry. The brunette beauty presented an award during the ceremony and was there to support her Best Picture-nominated film, Dallas Buyers Club.

But Garner's husband, who won an Oscar during last year's event for Argo, didn't join her until later when the two attended Vanity Fair's after party.

A source tells Us Weekly that the couple "walked in looking incredible" and that they stopped "to chat with Chris Messina and [his wife] Jennifer Todd." They reportedly left the party at about 1:30 a.m.

Other guests who attended the Vanity Fair bash include Kate Hudson, Jared Leto, Amy Poehler, Kerry Washington, and Lupita Nyong'o.
