Jim Parsons: 'I'm not that guy,' Sheldon Cooper [VIDEO]

March 2 (UPI) -- "Big Bang Theory" actor Jim Parsons joked that he's not the nerdy, genius comic-book loving Sheldon Cooper character that everyone seems to think he is.

During his first turn as the host of "Saturday Night Live," Parsons treated the audience to a little ditty during his opening monologue that encouraged viewers not to mistake him for the character he plays on television.

“I am not like Sheldon. I am not a scientist. I don’t speak Klingon. I do have a male roommate,” he said, “but I assure you it’s a vastly different arrangement.”
