"The whole movie is a confection," Colbert said. "The hotel itself looks like a 'Cake Boss' cake. It's like this confection of a hotel, almost as if it's made out of frosting. The story itself is something of a confection but when you cut into it there's meat there.
"It's like a meat cake," Colbert added.
"Grand Budapest Hotel" comes to theaters March 7."Well put, well put," Goldblum said, adding that Anderson's movies are akin to an "art installation."
