George Lopez arrested for public intoxication

No charges were filed against the "George Lopez" show star.

WINDSOR, Ontario, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- George Lopez was arrested on Thursday night for public intoxication at Ontario's Caesars Windsor in Canada.

TMZ has a photo of the 52-year-old comedian passed out on the floor in the hotel casino. Lopez had performed his stand-up routine at Caesars Windsor earlier that night.

Law enforcement says that hotel security alerted police to the situation and that officers arrested Lopez shortly after inside the casino bar.

No charges are being filed, but Lopez was taken into custody until he sobered up. He has since been released and will perform again at the Windsor tonight.
