The Game denies dating Khloe Kardashian: 'I dated Kim for a while'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- American rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, aka The Game, came forward to deny recent rumors that he was dating Khloe Kardashian.

While speaking to BBC Radio, The Game explained that he and Khloe have been friends for about 12 years and that their relationship is strictly platonic.

"I went and dated Kim for a while. A little short while" he added. "And me and Khloe was cool."

While the 34-year-old rapper did not specify when he dated Kanye West's fiance, a source tells TMZ the two "hooked up briefly in 2006."

Kim's infamous sex tape with Ray J was released in 2007.
