NEW YORK, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Nick Lachey is ready to step back into the spotlight.

Lachey is kicking off the reboot of VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live staring this Monday, filming from the old Total Request Live studios overlooking Times Square.

"It's me, it's my personality as a host," he told the ladies of The View. "I think the biggest mistake you can be is to try to be somebody you're not."

Lachey said he looked forward to performing some on the show, adding that The Fray and Lea Michele are among his first week's guests.

Sophia Bush, Adrienne Bailon, entertainment reporters Jack Rio and Jackie Miranne and Michael Vartan will all join him in studio.

The former 98 Degrees singer has some experience hosting, a la Ryan Seacrest on the a cappella competition show The Sing-Off and the short-lived game show The Winner Is.

Big Morning Buzz Live airs at 10/9C.
