LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- There's trouble in paradise for Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy. After being engaged for nearly three years, multiple sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple is thinking about calling it quits.
"They realized they are in different places in their lives. They grew apart," said one of the sources.
The couple, who have a 2-year-old son named Bing, have not been photographed together in months.
"It's not good right now. They're taking time apart to try to make things work," said another insider. "Matt loves Kate and Bing immensely, so hopefully they can work through it."
Hudson and the Muse rocker began dating in 2010. The two got engaged a year later and welcomed their son (the second for Hudson, who also has 10-year-old Ryder from her marriage to Chris Robinson) a few months after that. However, the duo hadn't even begun to plan their nuptials.
"I'm planning nothing right now. I'm so busy, we've been so busy, and it's been great. I come from an unconventional family -- they're not married, my parents aren't married," Hudson said on LIVE with Kelly and Michael in January.
"So there's a part of me that goes, 'If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right. And I'm going to take the time to really plan it right ... And it's a lot ... So, no. Not anytime soon, no."
