NEW YORK, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- The storm that dumped 9 1/2 inches on New York's Central Park will not force the cancellation of Broadway shows Thursday night.

"As of now, all Broadway shows will play as scheduled," the Broadway League said on its website Thursday afternoon.

"Cold snow days provide a great opportunity for tourists and locals to catch Broadway's hottest shows in warm theaters," the message said. "For information about returns and exchanges, theatergoers should contact their point of purchase."
