CALABASAS, Calif., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Los Angeles law enforcement officials told TMZ pop star Justin Bieber could be charged with felony vandalism for allegedly throwing eggs at his neighbor's home.

The neighbor called the cops on Bieber Thursday after he said he saw the singer pelting some 20 eggs at the front of his Calabasas, Calif., home.

The victim told TMZ the damage to his home far surpassed $400, which would make the alleged crime a felony.

The victim said the eggs damaged the Venetian plaster on the outside of his home, and it has to be redone. He said the damage could exceed tens of thousands of dollars.

"It's currently under investigation and [Justin Bieber] is a named suspect," Lt. Jennifer Barsh of the LA County Sheriff's Department told People.
