MALIBU COLONY, Calif., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Actor Leonardo DiCaprio sold his Malibu Colony, Calif., home for $17.35 million after reducing the price from $23 million, the Malibu Real Estate Blog reported.
The actor twice slashed the price on the Cape Cod-style home since he put it on the market in 2012. He reduced the price to $18.9 million in June and again more recently to $17.35 million, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The property includes two private guest houses and a beach that stays dry at almost any tide. It rented for as much as $175,000 a month during peak summer season.
DiCaprio purchased a home in Greenwich Village, N.Y., this year, designed by Delos Living as one of five residences meant to promote a healthy lifestyle, the New York Post reported.
