HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- German supermodel Heidi Klum said she's "too scared" to have plastic surgery to reverse the signs of aging.

The 40-year-old producer and Emmy-winning host of Lifetime's "Project Runway" told Access Hollywood Live she's not scared of getting old, but she is afraid of the procedures some women use to look younger.

"I've never done anything," she said Thursday. "I've been too scared, to be honest with you."

She said if it came down to having botox or growing bangs to hide forehead lines, "I go for bangs."

"I'm scared that all of a sudden you're changing too much, your face starts changing," Klum said. "I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I'm not used to seeing. I'd be afraid!"
