Nov. 16, 2013 at 1:16 PM

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Fans of the Tomb Raider video game franchise sent death threats to British actress Camilla Luddington, who is the voice and avatar for the Lara Croft character.

Luddington, who has also appeared as an intern for the past two seasons of "Grey's Anatomy," received a message on her Twitter account last month saying if she didn't pull out of the latest video game production, she would die, TMZ reported.

Among the threats she received were:

-- "[You] have 24 hours to leave the film TR, if not, we will go and kill, we are observing!!!!!"

-- "It's time, today at 2:15 PM, we will kill!!!"

  -- "You will die Camilla!!!"

Authorities obtained a search warrant for the people who control the Twitter accounts that sent the threatening messages.
