Christina Ricci marries James Heerdegen

NEW YORK, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Actress Christina Ricci married longtime boyfriend, camera technician James Heerdegen, in a small ceremony in New York, People magazine reported.

The couple married Saturday in an intimate ceremony before family and friends at Manhattan's Harold Pratt House & Peterson Hall, the magazine reported Sunday.

Ricci, 33, wore a Givenchy wedding gown in white silk tulle with appliqué of Chantilly lace and satin piping, embroidered with tiny pearls. A white tulle veil with matching Chantilly lace accompanied the look.

Ricci and Heerdegen met on the set of now-canceled ABC series "Pan Am."

"Getting to say 'fiance' instead of 'boyfriend' is my favorite thing," the actress told People in July. "I can't wait for 'husband' because then I can really throw my weight around – my husband's going to come down here and talk to you!' That's a huge threat."
