NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- New York radio personality Robin Quivers said Monday she is cancer-free after battling the disease for the past year.
Quivers, 61, said on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show it took 12 hours for surgeons to remove the grapefruit-sized tumor last May. She also underwent chemotherapy and other forms of treatment after the disease was found in her endometrial tissue. Fortunately, she is now cancer-free.
