LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Recording artist Miguel has been formally charged with drunk driving in Los Angeles, TMZ reported Wednesday.
The charge stems from the 27-year-old singer's Aug. 15 arrest.
Police said they pulled his car over because its windows were excessively tinted. The officers said they suspected he was intoxicated while he was talking to them. A breathalyzer test indicated his blood-alcohol content was just over the legal limit, the report said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned next week, TMZ said.
