Raven-Symone says she has no plans to marry after same-sex marriage tweet

Raven-Symone, former "Cosby" actress, said she has no immediate plans to get married despite a tweet she posted Friday showing excitement about recent legislation supporting same-sex marriage.

Symone told E! News said the tweet doesn't indicate a desire to get married at the moment.

"I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to," she said.

The actress' rep told E! Symone was simply responding to and supporting "the fact that she heard on NPR that more states legalized gay marriage today."

Symone has previously been tight-lipped about her sexuality and relationship statuses. In 2012 she took to Twitter to address rumors she is gay, saying "I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating."

"My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life," she added.
