June 17 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber is done pining over his former pet Mally -- the Capuchin monkey he surrendered to German authorities after failing to provide the proper paperwork while traveling with her -- and has moved on to adopt a cat named Tuts.

Tuts, who is uncannily similar to the famous internet meme Grumpy Cat, began to be featured on Bieber's Instagram account a few weeks ago and much like Mally, he became an international pet sensation in no time.

In fact, Tuts even has his very own Twitter account where he often posts selfies with his daddy and points out how similar the two are.

Tuts reportedly has many other qualities besides being Bieber's new pet, at least according to his Twitter account. However, these qualities have yet to be revealed. For now, he likes to bask in the glory of being Bieber's current object of affection.
