LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- Candy Spelling, widow of the late TV producer Aaron Spelling, is suing owners of a Los Angeles condo building where she has a two-floor penthouse, TMZ reported.
Spelling, who spent $47 million on the penthouse in The Century building that is still under construction, said she wants some of her money back in compensation for the fact that the condo's owners failed to follow through on promised amenities.
The building was supposed to feature a restaurant slated to open Jan. 1 but never did, TMZ reported.
Spelling is also suing The Carlyle, the building where she currently lives while her new penthouse is under construction.
In that suit, she claims the building's owners are trying to prematurely force her out and are double billing her for utilities. The building has in turn sued her for eviction, TMZ reported.
