NEW YORK, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Batman's sidekick, Robin, is to be killed battling a brutal enemy in Wednesday's issue of the "Batman Incorporated" comic book, the New York Post reported.

"He saves the world. He does his job as Robin," writer Grant Morrison told the newspaper. "He dies an absolute hero."

This particular incarnation of Robin is the 10-year-old, illegitimate son of billionaire Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, and Talia, the beautiful daughter of one of his enemies, Ra's al Ghul, the Post said.
