Johnson, 65, is the former guitarist with 1970s British rock band Dr. Feelgood. He also plays a recurring role on the HBO fantasy series, "Game of Thrones."

He plans to finish a new CD, tour France and perform a series of farewell shows in the United Kingdom while he is still able, the BBC said Thursday.

"He is not yet suffering any physical effects and can expect to enjoy at least another few months of reasonable health and activity," his manager Robert Hoy wrote on Johnson's Facebook page.

"Wilko wishes to offer his sincere thanks for all the support he has had over his long career," Hoy said. "From those who have worked with him to, above all, those devoted fans and admirers who have attended his live gigs, bought his recordings and generally made his life such an extraordinarily full and eventful experience."

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: U.S. pop star Justin Timberlake announced via Twitter Thursday he plans to release an album this year -- his first since 2006's "FutureSexLoveSounds."

"To whom it may concern . . . I think I'm READY!" Timberlake tweeted, alongside a link to a video on his website, in which he explains his decision to return to music after focusing on his acting career for several years.

The 31-year-old star of "The Social Network" and "Bad Teacher" is seen in the online clip walking into a recording studio.

"Someone asked me the other day... 'So are you just done with music?'" Timberlake said.

"[Music] means more to me than anybody else in the world. I've only done two albums in the past decade," he said. "What does the next decade mean to me? I don't want to put anything out that is... something I don't love. You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it."

UsMagazine.com quoted an unnamed source as saying Timberlake is nearly done with the album, however, no release date has been announced yet.

The renewal announcement was made Thursday by Barry Wallach, president of NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution, and David Goldberg, chairman and chief executive officer of Endemol North America.

Actor, author and stand-up comedian Steve Harvey is the host of the 1-hour daytime program, which won the 2013 People's Choice Award as Favorite New Talk Show Host Wednesday night.

"This project was a long time in the making and it would not have been possible without the incredibly talented Steve Harvey. His humor, honesty and insight were an immediate hit with the daytime audience," said Goldberg in a statement.

MARILYN MANSON: U.S. shock rocker Marilyn Manson has canceled his scheduled spring concert tour in Russia, ticket seller Sibparter announced.

"Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control, Marilyn Manson has canceled the entire tour of Russian cities," Sibparter said in a statement.

RIA Novosti said the musician planned to perform in Kazan, Samara, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk and Nizhny Novgorod, but scrapped the dates because he was dissatisfied with the organization of his mid-December concert in Yekaterinburg.
