Pregnant Kate Middleton out of hospital
LONDON, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- British Prince William's pregnant wife, Kate, has been released from the London hospital where she was treated for extreme morning sickness since Monday.
"The Duchess of Cambridge has been discharged from the King Edward VII Hospital and will now head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest," the Palace told UsMagazine.com in a statement Thursday. "Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment the Duchess has received."
UsMagazine.com said Prince William was spotted escorting his 30-year-old wife out of the hospital and the mother-to-be told reporters waiting outside she is feeling "much better."
William and Kate married in April 2011.
Jay-Z, fun. up for six Grammys apiece
NASHVILLE, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Dan Auerbach, fun., Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean and Kanye West were nominated for six Grammy Awards apiece at a concert in Nashville.
The Black Keys, Chick Corea and Miguel were each nominated in five categories at Wednesday night's "Grammy Nominations Live!" show at the Bridgestone Arena.
The nominees for Album of the Year are "El Camino" by The Black Keys, "Some Nights" by fun., "Babel" by Mumford & Sons, "Channel Orange" by Frank Ocean and "Blunderbuss" by Jack White.
In the running for Record of the Year are "Lonely Boy" by The Black Keys, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" by Kelly Clarkson, "We Are Young" by fun. and Janelle Monae, "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye and Kimbra, "Thinkin Bout You" by Frank Ocean and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift.
Shortlisted in the Best New Artist category are Alabama Shakes, fun., Hunter Hayes, The Lumineers and Frank Ocean.
Competing for Song of the Year are "The A Team," "Adorn," "Call Me Maybe," "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" and "We Are Young."
"The Grammy Awards process once again has produced a diverse and impressive list of nominations across multiple genres," Neil Portnow, president and chief executive officer of The Recording Academy, said in a statement.
"This year's nominees truly represent an exceptional and vibrant creative community that exemplifies some of the highest levels of artistry and excellence in their respective fields."
Winners will be announced at a Feb. 10 ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The prize presentation is to air on CBS.
'Diamonds' tops U.S. record chart again
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Rihanna's "Diamonds" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart for a third week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.
Coming in at No. 2 on the Hot 100 is Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven," followed by Ke$ha's "Die Young" at No. 3, Maroon 5's "One More Night" at No. 4 and The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are fun.'s "Some Nights" at No. 6, Phillip Phillips' "Home" at No. 7,) Flo Rida's "I Cry" at No. 8, Ne-Yo's "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)" at No. 9 and PSY's "Gangnam Style" at No. 10.
Video from 'Grease' stars Travolta, Newton-John is Web sensation
NEW YORK, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- "I Think You Might Like It," a U.S. music video from "Grease" co-stars Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, has been viewed on YouTube more than 475,000 times.
The sequel to the pair's iconic 1978 duet, "You're the One That I Want," was posted online Wednesday.
Both songs were penned by John Farrar.
The new tune is featured on Travolta and Newton-John's album, "This Christmas," the proceeds of which will benefit the Jett Travolta Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Australia.
