The latest news on today's hottest celebrities ...

J.K. ROWLING: Author J.K. Rowling has sold her 19th century mansion in Edinburgh, Scotland, for more than $3.6 million, The Scotsman reported.

The eight-bedroom house where the scribe penned at least four of her seven "Harry Potter" novels was sold three weeks after it was listed to a Scotland firm.

Rowling purchased the top half of the house in 1999, then later bought out her downstairs neighbor and converted the whole home into a single luxury residence. She lived there with her husband, Dr. Neil Murray, and her three children until 2009, the newspaper said Monday.

ANGUS T. JONES: Angus T. Jones, a 19-year-old original cast member of "Two and a Half Men," says he wants people to stop watching his U.S. sitcom because it is "filth."

Jones makes the statement during a 15-minute religious testimonial for the Christian group Forerunner Chronicles that was posted to YouTube.

"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men,'" he said in the clip.

"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth," he said. "People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."

E! News said Monday CBS has not yet commented on Jones' remarks.

The sitcom is now in its 10th season. Charlie Sheen was fired during Season 8 for his erratic behavior and drug use. He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher in Season 9. Jones has been with the show since the beginning.

LINDSAY LOHAN: About 3.5 million viewers tuned in for "Liz & Dick," a made-for-TV movie starring Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Co-starring Grant Bowler as actor Richard Burton, one of Taylor's seven husbands (they wedded twice), the telepicture debuted on Lifetime Sunday night.

It was the cable network's fourth-most-watched original movie of the year behind the remake of "Steel Magnolias" and the fact-based dramas "Drew Peterson: Untouchable" and "Abducted: The Carlina White Story," The Hollywood Reporter said.

'BOY MEETS WORLD:' Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to reprise their "Boy Meets World" characters Cory and Topanga in a new U.S. sitcom, TVLine said.

The Disney Channel show "Girl Meets World" finds the childhood sweethearts happily married and the parents of a 13-year-old daughter, Riley, the television news website reported Monday.

"Boy Meets World" creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs is directing the pilot. The original show ran on ABC from 1993 to 2000.
