KEVIN CLASH: The man who accused "Elmo" puppeteer Kevin Clash of an underage sexual relationship now says their relationship was "adult" and "consensual."
Sesame Workshop said Monday a 23-year-old man told the show's producer in June he had a sexual relationship with Clash, 53, that began when he was 16.
Pittsburgh law firm Andreozzi & Associates said in a statement Tuesday their client "wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship," The New York Times reported.
"He will have no further comment on the matter," the law firm said.
"We are pleased that this matter has been brought to a close, and we are happy that Kevin can move on from this unfortunate episode," Sesame Workshop said in statement.
The show said it thoroughly investigated the allegations and found them to be false. Clash was granted a leave of absence Monday to "take actions to protect his reputation."
"I am relieved that this painful allegation has been put to rest. I will not discuss it further," a spokeswoman for Clash said.

"I'm delighted we're making this film and Morgan is the perfect person to give that access-all-areas, behind-the-scenes look into what it's like to be One Direction today," producer Simon Cowell said.
"What the band have achieved is incredible. They and their fans have made history around the world -- this is for them."

LIZA MINNELLI: Liza Minnelli is to play herself on the Broadway-themed drama series "Smash," NBC announced.
The announcement was made Tuesday by Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment.
"Liza Minnelli is the essence of a multi-talented, singular show business sensation, particularly for her extraordinary contributions to Broadway," said Greenblatt. "So what could be more fitting than to have her legendary talent on a show that celebrates a world Liza has dazzled for decades? I had the pleasure of working with Liza when we restored her landmark television special 'Liza with a Z' at Showtime, and to see her artistry up close and personal is a thing to behold."
Minnelli's episode is titled "The Surprise Party" and will air in the spring, NBC said.
STEPHEN COLBERT: Madame Tussauds Washington says it has created a wax likeness of television personality and political satirist Stephen Colbert.
Colbert is to help unveil his figure at the attraction Friday.
Madame Tussauds D.C. said it is renovating its Media Room and creating a replica set of "The Colbert Report" where guests will be able to interact and take photos behind the desk, seated next to the figure.
"It's ironic that the last seven days began with one of the most significant days in United States politics and today we are capping it off by announcing a wax figure of one of the nation's most renowned political satirists," Dan Rogoski, general manager for Madame Tussauds D.C., said in a statement Monday. "Stephen Colbert was an ideal choice to immortalize in wax and we know our guests and especially his fans, will enjoy stepping onto the show's set and interacting with his figure."
