LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A security guard is suing actor Nicolas Cage for $115,000 for allegedly firing the man for no reason after two weeks of employment, TMZ reported.

Richard Brun said in the lawsuit -- filed in Orange County, Calif. -- that Cage hired him in September 2011, but fired him two weeks later and refused to pay him the salary he was promised in his contract.

Brun said Cage fired him "without any valid reason."
