LONDON, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince William said in Singapore he would like to have two children with his wife Kate.

The couple married in a lavish royal wedding in April 2011 after dating for several years.

The BBC said Queen Elizabeth II's grandson was asked during the second day of his and Kate's Diamond Jubilee tour to Singapore how many children he would like to have.

The British broadcaster quoted a teenage eyewitness as saying William responded he is thinking about having two.
