RANDY JACKSON: Randy Jackson will return as a judge for Season 12 of "American Idol" after weeks of rumors claiming he would shift into a mentor position.
TVGuide.com said Jackson, the last original judge on the singing competition series, will be back for another season now that talks between show producers and singer Enrique Iglesias have ended.
Iglesias was in the running to become a judge alongside incoming Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey.
Pop star Nicki Minaj and country artist Keith Urban are close to signing deals to join Carey and Jackson on the panel, TVGuide.com said Monday.
The cast change follows the departure of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez at the end of last season.
CHRIS BROWN: Chris Brown's publicist says the U.S. singer's new neck tattoo is not a portrait of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna as Internet buzz has suggested.
"His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw," Brown's representative said in a statement to TMZ Tuesday. "It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."
The tattoo artist who administered the ink told the celebrity news website Brown gave him the sugar skull design from a MAC advertisement to follow.
Brown and Rihanna broke up in 2009 after a heated physical confrontation in a car. Brown pleaded guilty to assault and was initially court-ordered to stay away from her, but after the restraining order was lifted, the pair have appeared friendly in public and frequently communicate with each other via Twitter, sparking rumors they are again dating.
ANNA PAQUIN: Stephen Moyer's publicist said Tuesday the British actor's wife, actress Anna Paquin, has given birth to twins.
"The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed," Moyer's representative said in a statement to E! News.
The "True Blood" co-stars married in August 2010.
No other details, including the babies' genders and birthday, were released.
WILLIAM SHATNER: Canadian-born actor and author William Shatner says he has added 20 cities to the U.S. tour of his one-man show "Shatner's World" in 2012-13.
The tour extension follows a three-week run this year at Broadway's Music Box Theatre and a successful tour of 15 cities across the United States.
"Performing for audiences on the road has been one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had as an actor," Shatner said in a statement Tuesday. "My fans are the best in the world and I can't wait to get back on tour this year."
The 90-minute show takes audiences on "a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film," a synopsis said.
