LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police said they arrested a man who was allegedly hiding in the bushes with a pair of scissors at actress Miley Cyrus' home Saturday.

Officers received a 911 trespassing call at the Studio City home early Saturday and found the man hiding in the bushes, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The suspect, who identified himself as Jason Luis Rivera, allegedly refused to cooperate with police, who then used a Taser stun gun on him.

Police held Rivera on suspicion of trespassing and burglary, the Times reported.

KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Cyrus was not at home at the time of the incident.
