LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- The doctor convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death said he fears for his safety after a stranger visited him in a California jail.

An unidentified woman posing as the mother of Jackson's children visited Dr. Conrad Murray Thursday at the Los Angeles county jail where he is serving a four-year sentence, TMZ reported.

The woman told Conrad she flew in from Nevada just to visit him, but he said he did not know who she was, TMZ said.

"I've seen you before and you've probably seen me before. I'm the mother of Michael Jackson's kids," the woman allegedly told Murray.

Murray's attorney Valerie Wazz told TMZ they are concerned about a recent change in the jail's visitor policy that allows visitors to sign up online without verifying their identity.

"I have serious concerns about the security. My client was horror-stricken by the fact that a complete stranger could get in to see him."
