NEW YORK, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- John C. McGinley has joined the cast of the Broadway revival of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama "Glengarry Glen Ross," producers said Monday.

Best known for his work on TV's "Scrubs" and "Burn Notice," McGinley will be playing the role of Dave Moss in "Glengarry," which also co-stars Al Pacino, Bobby Cannavale, David Harbour, Jeremy Shamos and Richard Schiff.

Daniel Sullivan is directing the revival, which will begin previews Oct. 16. The official opening date is set for Nov. 11 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in Manhattan.

This production marks the 30th anniversary of the play, which Mamet wrote in 1982. It premiered in the 1983-1984 season at the Royal National Theatre in London and made its U.S. debut at Chicago's Goodman Theatre in 1984 before moving to Broadway's Golden Theatre, where it ran for a total of 378 performances.
