'Spy Kids' star Alexa Vega files divorce

LOS ANGELES, July 15 (UPI) -- "Spy Kids" star Alexa Vega filed divorce papers in Los Angeles after less than two years of marriage, court documents show.

Vega, 23, listed her separation date from Sean Covel, 36, as March 5 in the divorce documents filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, TMZ reported. She listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce.

The two were married Oct. 10, 2010, in South Dakota.

Vega most recently appeared in Aerosmith's first music video in nearly a decade for the song "Legendary Child," Entertainment Tonight reported Tuesday.

The song is the premiere single from the band's first studio album since 2004, "Music From Another Dimension!"
