NEW YORK, June 21 (UPI) -- Bobby Cannavale has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway revival of David Mamet's drama "Glengarry Glen Ross," producers said Thursday.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning play will star Al Pacino.
Cannavale earned a Tony nomination last year for his performance in "The Motherf**cker with the Hat." He made his Broadway debut in 2008 in Theresa Rebeck's "Maurituis."
His television credits include "Nurse Jackie," "Modern Family," "Will & Grace," "Six Feet Under," "Oz" and "Cupid." He has appeared in the films "Win Win," "The Station Agent," "The Other Guys," "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," "Shall We Dance" and "The Bone Collector."
"Glengarry Glen Ross" is to begin rehearsals Sept. 12, with previews beginning Oct. 16 and an official opening date set for Nov. 11 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Daniel Sullivan is directing the production, which marks the 30th anniversary of the play.
